What is the Support at Home Program?
The Support at Home Program is the Australian Government’s in-home care initiative designed to help older Australians remain safe and independent at home. It replaced the old Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs from 1 November 2025.
Under this program, allied health services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and exercise physiology can be included in your care plan based on your assessed needs.
